Press Conference Recap

Coach Tom Anastos walked into the press conference on crutches, apparently the result of a collision with defensman Ron Boyd in practice. Speaking on his team's performance last weekend, the coach's message was clear, offensive production needed to be better.
"Offensivly we have to execute better," Anastos said. The coach also spoke on how his team needed to find confidence in their offensive game. Anastos then defended his decision to schedual top teir teams instaid of padding the schedule. Anastos said that the tough schedule will help his team and his program in the long run. Anastos also indicated that new offensive lines will be in the works for next week's series.
 The talk shifted towards the Spartan's next opponent, the Ferris State Bulldogs. Anastos indicated that Jake Hildebrand will start against the Bulldogs and that defensman John Draeger, who has been out with injury, is hopeful to make his season debut this weekend.
Ferris State is riding a 3 game loosing streak and comes into Munn Ice Areana with a 2-3-0 record.
